Daycare Requirements

It is very important to us that you and your dog meets our requirements to join us for doggie to ensure the safety of your pup and our staff.

Current on Vaccines

The Owner must provide proof of current vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough). The dog(s) should be free of fleas, ticks, and any contagious illnesses.  The client affirms that the dog is in good health and has not been exposed to any contagious diseases within 30 days before check-this in.

Spay and Neuter

After 8 months of age any dogs that attend play time with other dogs must be spayed or neutered. Dogs that are not spayed or neutered are at greater risk for behavior and dominance issues. There is also the risk of unwanted pregnancies. Even dogs that are spayed and neutered can get jealous and/ or protective and can try to challenge pets that aren't spayed or neutered.

No Parasites

All dogs that enter our building must be on a monthly flea and tick preventive. We are a parasite free building. If your dog is found with fleas or ticks upon arrival they will not be allowed to attend daycare with us. Although our building is parasite free there is still a risk that dogs can get fleas and ticks while they play with other dogs and outside. It is required that dogs are on a monthly preventive.

Aggressive Dogs

Dogs exhibiting behavior that puts themselves or others at risk will not be permitted to attend daycare. If a dog displays signs of aggression towards other dogs, they will be safely contained in a kennel and their owner will be contacted for pickup. It is important to note that not all dogs are suitable for daycare, and even well-behaved dogs may have off days where they need a break from socializing.

Evaluation

Prior to attending daycare, all dogs are required to undergo an evaluation to determine their suitability. This evaluation process involves leaving your pup in our care for 1-3 hours while you run errands and return. During this time, we will gradually introduce your dog to our daycare pack, one dog at a time, while ensuring they are safely separated from other dogs. This allows us to assess their behavior and compatibility with other dogs in a controlled environment.
